For one of my last university projects I wanted to make an illustrated book to address mental health in young men.
The foundation for the project comes from the fact that men feel like they can´t talk about depression and negative feelings. So after reading the work of many professional psychiatrists on cognitive biases I decided to illustrate these.
I wanted the illustrations to be perceived as textured and real, nothing that had an overly clean or cold feel to it.
Since I knew I had to make these quickly I started sketching out my ideas on paper to place down interesting layouts so that I could easily compare them to each other.
The main goal has always been conveying the message of the illustrations with as much clarity as possible, using visual metaphors.
With the brand KARIZMA BEAUTY the goal was making a sleek and aesthetic line of cosmetic products that would stand out with clean packaging.
Items like these usually need to be produced in a short amount of time in order to be cost effective, so it was important to be efficient when making designs for these products.
NIKITA KARIZMA was the main company I worked for and whom I still routinely do work for.
When I first started I developed the brands visual identity with the help of Nikita herself. We worked closely together to develop the brands visual style to what it is now, as well as a host of other projects that you can find on their site
SEAFOOH was a project I did in my last year of university where I created a fictional vegan sea food brand.
The main goal of the project was to make the packaging and branding as believable as possible and have you think that this could be a real product in a UK supermarket.
I also created character designs and a brief animatic to visualize what a tv advertisement for a product like this could look like.
VIRTUE CODE was the second main company that I worked with under NIKITA KARIZMA. I worked on the logo, brand indentity, font selection, site design, as well as a vast sweet of icons.
During the pandemic we decided to create hand sanitisers that would be visually appealing to the target market the brand wanted to reach.
The Morning Ritual soaps allowed us to create something focused on relaxation and simple beauty, my job was the make the packaging as beautiful as possible.
Now that you know me a little bit we can finaly get in touch!
I would love to help you with your or company.
